The wedding of Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal was scheduled for the first week of October. However, if stories are to be believed, the pair reportedly married "legally" roughly 2.5 years ago. They decided to hold a lavish wedding due to the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple chose to have their wedding ceremonies in style now that the constraints are easier to adhere to. The wedding celebration occurred in Mumbai, while the pre-wedding festivities were in Delhi.

The wedding reception for the pair took place in Mumbai, and it was no less than a star-studded occasion. Vicky Kaushal, Tabu, Sanya Malhotra, Taapsee Pannu, Hrithik Roshan, and Saba Azad were guests.
