Alia Bhatt debuts as a producer in ‘Darlings’. On Tuesday, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew saw the movie for the first time. Alia Bhatt and directer Jasmeet K Reen, co-produced Darling with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. Following her ‘Dear Zindagi’, this is her second collaboration with the superstar. Alia announced, "It’s just a tease Darlings. Arriving 5th August #DarlingsOnNetflix."

The Netflix movie teaser is more than a minute long and features four actors and a Hindi narration of the famous frog and scorpion tale.Alongside the teaser, Netflix India has also released the first official poster for Darlings. Set in Mumbai, Darlings is a quirky dark comedy about the lives of mothers and daughters. Shefali Shah plays Alia Bhatt's mother in the film, with Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew playing important roles. The teaser features a romantic track between the characters Vijay Varma and Alia Bhatt. Directed by his debut film Jasmeet K Reen, the music for this film was composed by filmmaker and composer Vishal Bhardwaj.
