Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul who tied the knot on January 23rd have now taken to Instagram to share memorable snippets from their haldi ceremony.
Athiya Shetty, daughter of Bollywood star Suniel Shetty who has appeared in movies like Mubarakan and Hero, recently wed Indian cricketer KL Rahul, who has been her longtime love. The pair opted to have a low-key wedding at Shetty's Khandala's home after dating for a while. Family members and close friends from the industry were present for their private wedding. The duo had dropped romantic and dreamy pictures from their wedding and now finally, Athiya and KL Rahul shared a bunch of pictures from her haldi ceremony.

The album's opening picture features Athiya and KL Rahul laughing heartily while covered in sandalwood and turmeric paste. Additionally, they are covered in marigold flower petals. The clothing Athiya is wearing in the following image is a peach-pink suit with golden accents. In another image, she can be seen applying turmeric paste to her brother Ahan Shetty's face.

KL Rahul also uploaded photos from the celebration. In the photos, the pair can be seen applying haldi to one another and thoroughly enjoying the ritual. In one of the photos, they appear to be deeply in love with one another. In the final image, Rahul's pals can be seen ripping his clothing to pieces.
KL Rahul-Athiya’s intimate wedding at Khandala farmhouse
On Tuesday, KL Rahul and Athiya exchanged vows at Suniel's house in Khandala. Suniel thanked the photographers for their support and disclosed that the wedding reception will take place following the IPL season. Diana Penty, Krishna Shroff, Anshula Kapoor, and Anushka Ranjan with husband Aditya Seal were among the few friends to attend the wedding.
