Salman Khan to turn director for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali?

A few days back, we had reported that after Sajid Nadiadwala's exit, Salman Khan Productions has taken over the film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. Now, buzz is that the actor may don the director's hat for the project or co-direct it along with Farhad Samji.

According to sources close to the superstar, the actor has been mulling about directing a film for quite some time now.

"Who do you think directs most of the films that he has done in the last 4-5 years? Not a single frame goes into the end product without Bhai’s consent. He has been sitting on the editing of every single frame of his films for a long time now,” revealed the source who also added that it was Salman Khan’s frequent inputs irked Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This was the reason why Bhansali shelved Inshallah with Salman.

However, this time Salman is very serious about directing a film and there are chances that he may helm Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali which is already under his wings as a producer.

The film is slated to go on the floors in May this year with a start to finish schedule. It will release on 30 December 2022, on Salman Khan's birthday weekend.
