Sanjay Dutt pays tribute to father Sunil Dutt on his death anniversary; says, ‘You will always be in my heart…’

Sanjay Dutt marked the 17th death anniversary of his father, actor Sunil Dutt, on Wednesday. He wrote a touching note to his 'dad.'

Sunil Dutt, the iconic actor, died 17 years ago on May 25, 2005. Sanjay Dutt's relationship with his late father is absolutely touching, and the actor never misses an opportunity to reflect on the lessons he received from him. The Dus (2005) actor shared a touching note on his social media to commemorate his father Sunil Dutt's passing anniversary.

Sanjay shared a throwback picture featuring Sunil Dutt and him from his childhood days. Sharing the picture, he wrote an emotional caption that read, "Through thick and thin, you were always there to guide and protect me. You were my strength, inspiration and support in every need... the best a son could ask for. You will always be in my heart Dad, I miss you!"

Sunil died of a heart attack on May 25, 2005, two weeks before his 76th birthday, at his Mumbai home. Sanjay paid tribute to his mother, veteran actress Nargis, on her 41st death anniversary earlier in the month. On the anniversary of his mother's death, the actor shared a touching statement about her.
