According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara have started shooting for Jawan in Mumbai.

Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara start shooting for Jawan’s Mumbai schedule

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is directed by Atlee, the film also stars Priya Mani, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles. Nayanthara who is also one of the leads of the film has reportedly started shooting for the film in Mumbai along with Shah Rukh. South actress Nayanthara who recently got married will be shooting for the film for the next few weeks.

A source close to the film said, "This is going to be a long schedule until mid-July. She (Nayanthara) took a small break after her wedding and as we all know, she will do everything in her ability to make things go as per the given schedule. She is here and fulfilling her work commitments."

According to the reports, the Chitrakoot grounds in Mumbai have been reserved for Jawan's filming. It is said that not just one, but two sets have been set up, and the cast and crew will be filming some significant family moments there. "There are two sets constructed in Mumbai's Chitrakoot ground where SRK and Nayanthara are shooting the next schedule of Jawan. In this schedule, Atlee and his crew will shoot some sequences of SRK and his family,” confirmed a source.

King Khan completed 30 years in the Bollywood industry last week. The superstar who came live on his Instagram spoke about his bond with director Atlee. He said, "Too early to say. There is still a long way to go. There is not much I can tell you about Jawan except the fact that I am having a great time as an actor. And Atlee, the director, is a different kind of film. Everybody has seen his work. He makes outstanding mass-oriented films, again a genre I have never done. So, I wanted to try my hands on it. And I think me and Atlee have good chemistry. I bring in some (to the film), and he brings in some. Whatever we have done for Jawan is thrilling and exciting."

Actress Deepika Padukone is also reported to play a cameo in the film. Jawan is slated to release in theatres on June 2, 2023. The film will be available in all languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
