According to an exclusive story in Times Of India, the Jawan actor will wear a uniform for Hirani's movie. You did read that correctly. In the movie, he plays an Army Jawan. This update was given to the press exclusively by a person close to the movie. This person then disclosed that although there were hints regarding his character in the announcement video, nobody ever took the time to look for them.

“SRK is very excited to wear the uniform again. In fact, if you see the announcement video, there are hints from his fatigue pants to his green t-shirt. It is a look that army guys wear when they are traveling or resting.”, said the source.
It's interesting to note that Shah Rukh Khan began his acting career in 1988 as an Army Jawan in the Doordarshan series Fauji. In the films Main Hoon Naa by Farah Khan and Jab Tak Hai Jaan by Yash Chopra, he portrayed an army officer. His fourth appearance as an army officer will be in Dunki. In December 2023, the Rajkumar Hirani movie is scheduled for release.
