Siddharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Mission Majnu’s release date to be announced today

Fan made National crushes of the country, Siddharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna are set to share screen space in Shantanu Bagchi’s Mission Majnu. Backed by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP and Guilty By Association, Mission Majnu will star Sidharth Malhotra playing a RAW agent who leads a secret operation on Pakistani soil in the espionage thriller set in the 1970s. The film also marks the Bollywood debut of Geetha Govindam (2018) actress Rashmika Mandanna.

The news was made on Wednesday with the release of a brand new poster. Sharing the poster, RSVP wrote the caption, "The target is set! Get ready to be a part of India’s most daring RAW mission in the heart of Pakistan. Inspired by true events, #MissionMajnu releasing on 10th June 2022."

Parveez Shaikh, Aseem Arrora, and Sumit Batheja wrote the script for Mission Majnu, which also stars Sharib Hashmi and Kumud Mishra.

The film is set to clash with Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal starrer Govind Naam Mera, which will be released on June 10th. Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar, was also scheduled to hit theatres on June 10th. The Sooryavanshi (2021) actor, on the other hand, chose to premiere his period drama on the prior weekend, June 3rd. Mission Majnu, starring Sidharth and Rashmika, was slated to be released on May 13, 2022. However, the film's release has been postponed due to the third wave of the new coronavirus, and it will now be released on June 10.
