The Pathaan actress spoke with the media and revealed how she developed her humorous persona alongside Ranveer and Rohit Shetty.

Deepika Padukone credited Rohit Shetty with all of her comic timing while speaking with the media during the launch of the Cirkus song Current Laga Re. The actor remarked, “I don’t think I can bring out my comic avatar with anyone else except Rohit Shetty.” Well, it is a big statement to make, but we also wouldn't dispute it after witnessing her hilarious performance in Chennai Express.

Meanwhile, Cirkus represents Rohit and Deepika's long-awaited reunion. In the 2013 film Chennai Express, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan as the main, the director collaborated with the actress. The third project that Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty have worked on together is Cirkus. The two initially collaborated on the movies Simmba (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021).
