Zareen Khan: Salman Khan is a friend just a phone call away, but I’m not pestering him

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has a magnanimous heart and he has shown us so multiple times through his actions. He has helped hundreds of people in the industry, one of them being Zareen Khan.

Khan launched the actress in Bollywood with his 2010 film Veer. Though the film did not set the cash registers jingling at the ticket counter, the audience loved the fresh pairing of both the actors. Zareen Khan has been part of some notable films ever since her debut, along with hosting a TV show and appearing in music videos.

The actress, however, maintains that all the work that comes her way is not through Salman Khan. She says that she is thankful to the superstar for launching her in Bollywood, but her real struggle started after the release of Veer.

“Salman is an amazing person but he is also a busy man. I cannot be a monkey on his back and bother him about little things. A lot of people to date think that all the work I do is through him and that’s not true,” she told a publication.

The actress went on to add, “Salman is a friend and just a phone call away, but I am not pestering him. And that undermines the struggle, the hard work that I have done.”
