BHEDIYA BO DAY 9: Varun Dhawan’s movie remains immovable

Despite competition from An Action Hero and Drishyam 2, the horror-comedy Bhediya starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon maintains a consistent box office performance. The movie, which debuted on November 25, had a respectable start and is still making money today.

Bhediya, starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, released in theatres on November 25 in different languages. Even though fresh Hindi films are coming out, Bhediya's chances of joining Bollywood's Rs 100 crore club appear to be slim. The movie made Rs 1.86 crore on Day 9 according to a tweet by trade expert Taran Adarsh.

BHEDIYA

The comedy-horror film Bhediya is directed and produced by Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan. The main characters in the film are played by Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Including this film and Bhediya, Kriti's second film with Varun after Dilwale (2015). Bhediya is actually the third installment in Vijan's horror-comedy series. The movie had its theatrical debut on November 25. The plot of the movie Bhediya, which is set in Arunachal Pradesh, centres on a young guy named Bhaskar who is bitten by a wolf while scavenging for food. He begins to change into a werewolf later on. The soundtrack for the film was created by Sachin-Jigar, and Amitabh Bhattacharya composed the lyrics.

DRISHYAM 2

In terms of Drishyam 2, the movie has already raked in Rs 167.93 crore in India. After day 10, the movie is still on pace and earning an average of over Rs 4 crore. According to Pinkvilla, the thriller made an astonishing sum between Rs 7.7 crore and Rs 8.5 crore on its third Saturday. Drishyam 2 is a remake of the same-titled thriller starring Mohanlal, which also features Shriya Saran, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna. It is under Abhishek Pathak's direction.
