Sonakshi Sinha starrer film Akira has remained steady at the box-office on its first Monday. The action drama made Rs. 16.65 crores during its first weekend at the box-office. The film raked in Rs. 3.40 crores more on Monday, hence the total collection stands at Rs. 20.05 crores at the domestic front.
The film also stars filmmaker turned actor Anurag Kashyap as the baddie. A. R. Murugadoss’s directorial film needs to remain stable during the week days so as to get a strong total. Akira is a tale of a girl who is dragged wrongly in a scandal by the corrupt Police, she fights them back all alone to prove her innocence.
