Dangal’s China release has beaten its own lifetime record. Thus, becoming the first Bollywood film to cross the 1000 Crore benchmark.

1000 Crore is the latest trend in the world of cinema. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion crossing this mark a few days ago, now its Dangal who is making the 1000 Crore news.
Dangal ’s has earned 417.50 Crores in just 11 days of its China release, thereby breaking its own domestic lifetime record of 387.38 Crores net. It’s till date, worldwide collection is 1162.13 Crores. Therefore, Dangal has become the first Bollywood film to cross the 1000 Crore mark!
Considering PK’s response, Aamir Khan took the decision of releasing Dangal in China. Over the years, he has also built a fan followership in this neighboring country.
Releasing in over 9000 screens, Dangal is presently going strong in China. Trade analyst predicts its future of crossing 500 Crore in the Chinese land. Calling the words of praises, Chinese actress Wu Qian was quoted saying, “All those issues touched on in his works also exist in China, but no Chinese has ever made that type of film”.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal ’s Hindi version was released on December 23, 2016. While its China release hit the theaters on May 5, 2017, as Shuai Jiao Baba.
Dangal stars Aamir as the wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and Saakshi Tanvar as his on-screen wife.
