Samar Shaikh 's directorial ' Bobby Jasoos ' released on July 4 with loads of expectations at the box office. Vidya Balan starrer was the favourite piece of news update from a long time due to Vidya's diverse avatars in this female detective drama. Released across 1300 screens, ' Bobby Jasoos ' could witness sheer 10% occupancy during its morning shows. Many of the shows got cancelled in Haryana and UP, reportedly. The film performed poor in the North region. Going by the early trends, ' Bobby Jasoos ' is anticipated to collect around 2.50 to 3 crore nett on its opening day.
The other film that released on July 4 was the much-talked about romantic-drama ' Lekar Hum Deewana Dil '. The movie featured Ranbir Kapoor 's cousin Armaan Jain and the rising actress Deeksha Seth . The film was promoted on various social platforms and hence, was expected to do well at the ticket window owing to the young star cast. However, the not-so-good storyline of the film added into the sluggish start of it. ' Lekar Hum Deewana Dil ' opened with around 5 to 7% opening on day one and was anticipated to perform better during evening and night shows. So, earning even 2 to 2.50 crore nett on the first day of its release does not seem to be a cakewalk for this flick, as per the report.
