First Day Box office collection of 'Commando -A One Man Army'

Vidyut Jamwal 's one man show ' Commando-A One Man Army ' got a surprising opening on the first day of its release. 'Commando' has two new faces Pooja Chopra and Vidyut Jamwal but it got a warm response from the single screen audiences. The film collected more than expected from the single screen theatres. The film got a fantastic opening on its first day.
But the film could not create much impact on the multiplex audiences. Especially in the big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru etc. But the film remained strong in the cities of East Punjab, Lucknow, Surat, Indore, Rohtak and Kanpur etc. The film which got a good response from the single screen audiences, edged out the possibilities of a business for ' Nautanki Saala! ' another release of the week. ' Nautanki Saala! ' performed well only in selected high end multiplexes.
According to the reports, 'Commando' by Vipul Shah managed to collect gross 3.70 Cr on its first day considering its content and a new star cast. The experts say that the film might jump on the weekend as the single screen audiences tend to watch the films on weekends. A slight improvement in the multiplex occupancy can create the magic for the film.
