First Day Box Office Collection of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ' directed by Ayan Mukherjee was the first movie releasing after the IPL weekend. The other exciting factor about this film was together appearance of ex-lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone . Apart from this, the movie has various reasons to rule over the silver screens, such as the film being the story of four youngsters, a freshly cooked story and the 'tadka' of electrifying dance numbers.

This Dharma Productions movie received bumper openings at the box-office in the metro regions like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Mysore, Bangalore, Lucknow, Gujarat, Nasik, Punjab and Kolkata. The morning shows of the film saw 80%-90% occupancy in multiplexes, even though it performed slightly low in the single screens. Other reasons for attaining such a thunderous response in premium multiplexes may be the excellent advance bookings, which began from Monday itself and various paid previews of the flick.

Glancing at such a booming response from the audience, the signs are visible that ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ' will completely rock at the box-office over this weekend. The movie managed to override all the earlier figures of ' Rowdy Rathore ', ' Bodyguard ' and ' Agneepath '.

The movie should churned out 18.50 crore nett on its first day of release, as the early estimates suggest. Reportedly, this romantic flick collected 7 crore nett in Mumbai, 4 crore nett in Delhi, 1.30 crore nett in Rajasthan and 1.35 crore nett in East Punjab. The collections in CI and CP must be near to 1 crore nett each. Moreover, ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ' geared up in Dubai by garnering 1 crore collection.

After achieving such a grand opening, today is the day, which will knit the future box-office earnings of it.
