After the year 2011, ' Singham Returns ' roared once again on the silver screens on August 15 and successfully shattered the records by becoming the highest grossing film of 2014 till now. Rohit Shetty directorial action-extravaganza received a warm welcome from the audience and witnessed great occupancy in Mumbai, Gujarat, central India. It performed good in UP, Bihar and north region, however needs a better picture at the locations like Mysore and West Bengal, reportedly.
Ajay Devgn , Kareena Kapoor starrer broke the records of Salman Khan 's ' Kick ' on its opening day by collecting 32.09 crore nett, whereas ' Kick ' garnered 26.50 crore nett on day one. Talking about the collection of the film on second day, it raked in 21.05 crore nett. So, the total domestic box office collection of the film in the first two days of its release can be summed up to 53.14 crore nett. On the other hand, the movie collected 03.20 crore nett overseas. As per the report, ' Singham Returns ' has recorded the total worldwide box office collection of 56.34 crore nett till now and the film has kept the cash registers ringing at a great rate.
As there may be partial holiday on Monday in selected parts of the nation, the film is anticipated to cross the mark of 90-95 crore nett in 4 days, as per the predictions.
