First Weekend Collection of 'Shamitabh'

After a decent first day opening of Rs. 3.50 crores at the Box office, 'Shamitabh' has picked up quite well on its first weekend. Director R. Balki's movie has made Rupees 4.75 crores on Saturday and 5 crore on Sunday (approximately) and the numbers are expected to improve further more.

With the super star casting done by the director the estimation of the earrings at the Box office were quite high. But still the film has over a week to meet the expected numbers and reach the high targets. The film has received mixed reviews from the critics and the audiences. Released in over 3000 screens, the movie is promoted well and has created a lot of buzz.

'Shamitabh' is an Eros International Film starring actors Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and new bee Akshara Haasan.
