R. Balki ’s directorial Ki & Ka starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor witness a good start at the box-office at the domestic market. The team has done exceptional promotions and has generated curiosity amongst the audience due to its unconventional role-reversal concept. The trick seems to be working as the film has seen ample footfalls at the theatres on its opening Friday.
The movie raked in Rs. 7.30 crores on day 1. This film is Balki’s biggest opener ever. Also, the numbers are better than Arjun Kapoor ’s last release Tevar (7 crore) and Kareena’s highest opening wherein she is the senior actor. It is crucial for the film to perform well on the weekend to have a good weekend collection.
