Tiger Zinda Hai Box Office Collection: The BLOCKBUSTER film pockets 17.55 crores on Day 6!

Money is raining at the box office for the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer film, Tiger Zinda Hai. Running steadily in cinemas across the country, the spy-thriller film minted another Rs. 17.55 crore on Thursday, taking its 6-day box office collection to a humongous Rs. 190.62 crore, which is fantabulous considering the fact that it did not release on a Holiday. Having said that, it is also important to add that the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial could project such huge collections because it made most of the Christmas holiday on 25th December, which helped it rake in considerable money. With Rs. 190.62 crore in its pocket, Tiger Zinda Hai has now entered the list of top 20 highest grossers of Hindi film industry.

That Tiger Zinda Hai was going to be the biggest Hindi film of the year was evidenced by the first-day income of the film. Released across 4600 screens in India, the movie pulled in Rs. 34.10 crores on its opening day and, continuing its steady pace, it collected Rs. 35.30 crore on Saturday and Rs. 45.53 crore on Sunday, closing out its first weekend at a whopping Rs. 114.93 crore. The Yash Raj Films’ production made another Rs. 36.54 crore on Monday, Rs. 21.60 crore on Tuesday and Rs.17.55 crore on Wednesday. Within 6 days of its run, the film stands tall with a cumulative collection of an impressive Rs. 190.62 crore.
