With yesterday's collection, the grand ‘Padmaavat’ has now entered in the Rs. 150 crores club!

After going through the turmoil of controversies, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ finally released on 25th January 2018. As we all know that the film has been fully banned in 4 major states of the nation, still the collections are as grand as the film. The Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh starrer magnum opus, which is made on a budget of whopping 215 crores, till Tuesday collected, 143 crores and yesterday’s collections took the film to Rs. 150 crores club. On its second Wednesday, i.e. yesterday, the film pocketed 12.50 crores and took the grand total to Rs. 155.50 crores.

Well, where the film faced helluva protests in its motherland, the foreign countries have appreciated the film very well. In the US alone, the film is about to touch 40 crores and worldwide, the collections are nearing Rs. 100 crores.

With yesterday’s collection’s, the film has crossed Rs.250 crores mark worldwide.
