Malaika Arora Biography

India's topmost item girl, Malaika Arora Khan is a very good dancer, model, VJ and also a television presenter. She is considered as India's one of the topmost dancers. She has dazzled the silver screen with her amusing and sensual dance. Malaika was born on 23rd October 1973 in Mumbai. Her father, Anil Arora is a Punjabi and her mother Joyce Polycarp is a Malayali Catholic. Malaika has a younger sister Amrita Arora who is also an actress in the Bollywood. Her father was in the Merchant Navy. She went to the Holy Cross High School in Thane and then completed her secondary education from Swami Vivekanand School in Chembur. Malaika persuaded her graduation from Jai Hind college in Churchgate.

Malaika started her career as a VJ for MTV India when it started broadcasting in India. She became in interviewer for MTV. MTV recognized the spark in the leggy lass and gave her the opportunity to host the shows Style Check and Love Line. Malaika then commenced her modeling career. She became a successful model with her stunning and vivacious personality. She also hosted many award ceremonies and music concerts.

Malaika then started appearing in a cameo appearances in many films like 'Dil Se', 'Kaal' ,'Heyy Babyy' ,'Om Shanti Om' ,'Welcome', 'Dabangg' and 'Dabangg 2'. Her most popular item songs are 'Chhaiya Chhiaya' , 'Kaal Dhamaal', 'Hoth Rasiley' , 'Munni Badnaam Hui' and 'Pandey Ji'. Recently she appeared in the sizzling item number 'Anarkali Disco Chali' in 'Housefull 2'.

Malaika has hosted a TV show Lux Perfect Bride along with Amrita Rao and Shekhar Suman. She was one of the judges in the television reality shows like Zara Nachke Dikha, Nach Baliye (I and II) Zara Nachke Dikha, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and India's Got Talent etc. Malaika has also appeared in the guest appearances in the movies like 'Bichhoo' ,'Maa Tujhhe Salaam' ,'Kaante', 'EMI' ,'Housefull' and 'Housefull 2'.

The stunning Diva is married to actor director and producer Arbaaz Khan. The couple has a son named Arhaan. Malaika is sister in law of Salman Khan and Sohail Khan. She along with her husband Arbaaz has started a production house named Arbaaz Khan Productions. Malaika was a producer for 'Dabangg' and 'Dabangg 2'.
