Mazhar Khan Biography

Mazhar Khan was an actor, producer and director.


Born on 22 July 1953, the actor wed Zeenat Aman, the famous Bollywood actress.


Baton Baton Mein is his debut movie and afterwards he came in to the limelight with Ramesh Sippy's Shaan which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor. The actor played a character named Abdul in this film. From 1980 to 1990 he acted in more than 40 movies in both negative and positive roles. Mazhar played villinious role in Hollywood film Terminal Entry (1986).

He was extremely receipted for his performance in the famous TV serial Buniyaad (1987). Angaar was his last movie as an actor and then he tried his fate in direction and production with Angaar starring Jackie Shroff and Nana Patekar.


On 16 Sept 1998 the actor expired of kidney infection. Zeenat tried her level best to save her husband and expended alot on his treatment. After the death of Mazhar, Zeenat was harassed by her in laws. Even her boy was taken away by them.
