About Pooja Gandhi
She is famous face in Kannada film industry as well as Tamil cinema. Pooja Gandhi is also known by her other name, Sanjana Gandhi. The artist was born in a typical Punjabi family on 7th October, 1983. She is the daughter of a businessman Pawan Gandhi and her mother Jyothi Gandhi is a homemaker. She was the student of Meerut-based Sophia Convent and Dewan Public School. Pooja is having two sisters, Suhani Gandhi, who is a tennis player and Radhika Gandhi, who works in Kannada films.
Television was the way by which Pooja Gandhi kickstarted her career. She was seen in 'Zameen Se Aasman' directed by Aruna Irani. In 2003, she appeared in a Bengali movie named 'Tomake Salam'. 'Kokki' was the film by which Pooja took the path of South Indian film industry. The movie could not please the box-office.
'Mungaru Male' was the movie with which Pooja debuted in Kannada film industry. The movie saw great days in Karnataka. 'Beere Devupoonje' was the film by which Pooja stepped in Tulu cinema. In the year 2012, Pooja Gandhi became a part of Janata Dal. The actress commenced working with the party as the working president of its youth.
