Pulkit Samrat is model turned actor, born on December 29, 1983 in Delhi. Hailing from a Punjabi business family, he always wanted to be an entertainer. After completing his schooling, he joined Apeejay Institute of Design. However, within five months he got his first modeling assignment. This is when he decided to shift his base to Mumbai and joined an acting course in Kishore Namit Kapoor's institute.
Fortune has always been favourable to Pulkit, as just within a year after headed to Mumbai, he got his big break in Balaji Telefilms long-running TV soap 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" to play the character role of Lakshya Virani. Here he was open handedly welcomed by the Indian Television industry by presenting him "Best Fresh New Face Award" at The Indian Telly Awards and "Favourite Naya Sadasya" at Star Pariwar Awards. He next featured in choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant's musical theatrical "Taj Express".
Climbing up the success ladder his next step was in Bollywood with his debut film 'Bittoo Boss'. Though the film went flop, still it couldn't stop Pulkit from shinning. It led him to his second film 'Fukrey', produced by Excel Entertainment.
Pulkit is steadily moving ahead bagging one film after the other. And now, he seems unstoppable!
On personal front, he will be soon marrying fiancee Shweta Rohira who happens to be Salman Khan's "rakhi-sister".
