Raai Laxmi, whose fame spans Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam movies, is creating waves with her new song video, Majnu 2. Majnu 2 is a sweet yet upbeat dance number sung by Bollywood's singing sensation Mika Singh and released during Valentine's Week this month. Apart from that, she is also a fan-favourite on social media as she keeps treating her fans to her lovely and stunning pictures.
Her recent Instagram post is nothing but alluring and we are wowed by her beauty. For a recent photoshoot, she donned a pretty brown sweater with grey faux fur on the sleeves. To compliment the outfit, she kept her makeup subtle with foundation filled-in brows, kohl laiden eyes, highlighter and nude lipstick. Her blonde tresses were left loose in tight curls. She posed towards the side and flashed a sweet smile. Taking to her Instagram handle, she shared the picture and captioned it with a honey emoticon.
People are grooving to Majnu 2 and adoring Raai's performance in the music video. In a recent interview, she spoke about her experience of working in a music video. "I feel music videos are quite popular these days. The current generation is catching up with singles very quickly. It’s turned out to be a bigger market, the Punjabi ones have become a rage now. There’s a whole new perspective to the idea of doing singles now. Majnu 2 happened to me before Covid but Mika couldn’t release it earlier, so he found the right space to release it on Valentine’s Day. Also, he is a friend and was planning a solo song for a long time but we ended up doing Majnu 2," said the Julie 2 (2017) actress.
Speaking of the work front, Raai Laxmi was last seen in the 2021 Tamil flicks Mirugaa and Cinderella. She will be next seen in Kodi Ramakrishna's Rani Ranamma, P.V.S Guruprasad's Jhansi IPS and actor-turned director Deepak Tijori's Hindi film Tipsy.
