Friday Hollywood Release: American Made, when a pilot cons govt. & drug-lords!

Love it or despise it, action movies based on con stories are fun to watch and the excitement elevates when we see ‘Based On The True Story’ in the trailer, as we know the fun will be reasoned with real events! Such stories might be uninspiring but sure serves a gripping screenplay and anticipation to see what happens at the end! If you are a fan of such con-comedy action flicks and also love the fact they are based on real-life person and events, then America Made is the kind of film for you, which features Tom Cruise in the lead role! Just take a look at it!

The film American Made is a story based on Barry Seal, a former Trans World Airlines pilot who became a drug smuggler for the Medellín Cartel in the 1980s. And in order to avoid jail time, Seal approached United States government officials and served as an informant for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). If you are a fan of Netflix’ Narcos, you might have met Berry Seal in its first season.

In terms of entertainment values, the film would promisingly serve as a gripping thriller filled with classy badass moments and Tom Cruise being an air-cowboy will play the cat-mouse game with governments, DEA, drug kingpins while making tonnes of money and maintaining the swag while doing it! The film features a cast of Sarah Wright, Domhnall Gleeson, Jayma Mays, Jesse Plemons and Lola Kirke. The film is directed by Doug Liman, who has also directed Jumper and Sci-fi classic Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise! The film will be releasing in Indian theaters on 29th September with the international releases and available only in the English language in theaters.
