The action of the novel takes place at an extremist training facility where Bilal and Hakim are told that if they sacrifice their lives for Allah, they will be rewarded with 72 beautiful virgins in heaven (bhattar hoorain). However, Hakim and Bilal are shocked to discover that they did not find themselves in the arms of a stunning virgin after their terror strike in Mumbai. These Fidayeens set out on a perilous trip that would take them to the celestial realms, driven by an unwavering faith. Their ultimate objective is to encounter the fabled 72 Virgins, also referred to as the Hoorain.
