A commoner Champak (Riteish Deshmukh) decides to rob a bank in South Mumbai and teams up with two dumb head thieves Gulab and Genda from Delhi NCR. These three amateur robbers enter the bank premises with no concrete plan to execute. Results in chaos and confusion during the entire robbery scenario. CBI Officer Amjad Khan (Vivek Oberoi) has been appointed to handle this case which according to him is linked with two other similar bank robbery cases. Inside the bank now has another 'real' Bank Chor Jugnu (Sahil Vaid) who is the real gruesome villain. Soon it turns out that Jugnu and his army are in search of some hard drive that has very important secret evidence against the biggies of the political system and hence, the police and CBI are involved in large numbers.

Meanwhile, Champak involves TV reporter Gayatri (Rhea Chakraborty) and Amjad Khan to vent out from the bank and save the hostages. Amjad Khan takes control of the situation to catch hold of Jugnu and his gang but in vain as he is found trapped himself inside a locker! Who is the real Bank Chor?
