Shankar (Shreyas Talpade) is a petty thief who is in desperate need of money. He steals from the local Don and then escapes with a team of doctors heading for relief work to Bangkok. However, he loses the bag of money in the chaos. In Bangkok, his world is turned upside down at a bar where he bumps into the lovely Jasmine (Lina Christianson). The only problem is that she is Thai and he can't understand a word she says. However, the next day Jasmine turns up desperately in need of a doctor. Shankar posing as a doctor along with his goofy Sardar buddy, Rachinder, jumps into this whirlpool while Jasmine soon gets pulled into his bumbling adventures while running away from the Don & his henchmen.
