Teji (Diljit Dosanjh), a Punjab based local goon and Jeenal Patel (Sonakshi Sinha), a Gujarat based fashion designer, win a trip to IIFA Awards, New York. They go to the Award function as a winner of a lucky draw competition and believe it as the best moment of their lives. But later, Jeenal finds out that they have purposely been brought to New York by Sophia (Lara Dutta), for their foolish acts so that they can spoil Gary's (Boman Irani) big event. Sophia is Garry's assistant and has a personal grudge against him, so to spoil the main IIFA show, she manipulates Teji and Jeenal. What happens next when even Teji gets to know about this takes the story ahead.
