Great Grand Masti doesn't provoke many questions when you're leaving the theatre. Nothing related to the film any way. However, one question that the audience could ask is, what happened to the decent actors Vivek Oberoi and Riteish Deshmukh? They broke into the business successfully. And how life has turned in such a way that they're forced to give their all to loud suggestive humour, in a universe where their only problem is that they crave sex and they (for whatever reason) don't get it at home. Aftab Sivdasani, well, we've all been waiting for a good performance from him after Mr India. Let's leave him out.

Two films later, the Masti franchise has made the audience familiar with its template. How the monotony of marriage makes three buddies seek for some harmless fun, has proven to make for a few good laughs and a lot of moolah. Even in its third stint, the naughty popcorn entertainer offers ample chuckles sticking to the raunchy premise.

Taking cues from haunted and possession films in Bollywood, GREAT GRAND MASTI - The third installment of the hit MASTI (2004) followed by a much bigger hit GRAND MASTI (2013) is a disgusting testimony on how far (read low) a filmmaker can go for mass consumption. The once prolific Indra Kumar (DIL, BETA, etc), seems to be in some kind of a bizarre experiment, The director is churning out awfully pathetic movies and hoping it will score at the box office.

Great Grand Masti has achieved what thousands of bad films couldn't. It's that one film you will remember for the rest of your life. It's a master-class in bad filmmaking, and a misuse of freedom of expression. To call it a film will be an insult to our collective conscience. Masti (2003) and Grand Masti (2013) are no milestones, but even they don't deserve such a pathetic sequel.

Mixing horror with comedy is a rare genre practice in Hindi cinema. Rarer still is to thrust sex into the mix. So you have Great Grand Masti catering to a unique new proposition, horror sex comedy. It's a heady cocktail, pun intended. While it's certainly not the worst film ever made, it's also not a film you can recommend with ease. There are truckloads of double meaning dialogue. Some of it is cringe worthy while some is actually funny. If you're into family entertainment, this film loaded with endless sexual references is not for you. But if you get your kicks from risqu and sleaze, Great Grand Masti is entertainment guaranteed.

I hope director Indra Kumar isn't planning to make any more films in the Masti franchise because the viewing experience is getting tedious. Great Grand Masti is the third installment in the comedy series, which started way back in 2004 with the sleeper hit Masti. Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi are back reprising their respective roles but this time, their comic antics are epic fail. The basic plot of the film is similar to the first film. Amar, Meet and Prem are fed up with their not-so-exciting lives.

Those who have been following the escapades of the 'Masti' boys will know that they have been stuck in a limbo: between 'biwis' who will not put out and other women who are dying to, between pills that stiffen male private parts and receptacles to insert said parts into, between... I could go on, but I can see you cringe. So did I, in this offensively unfunny, grating thing (nothing 'great' about it) which should not be allowed to call itself a film.

Great Grand Masti is the third in the financially successful Masti series directed by Indra Kumar and starring Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani as friends Amar, Meet and Prem, three sexually frustrated married men who are desperately in search of a roll in the hay with any and every available good-looking young woman. In the latest instalment, they are kept away from their marital beds by familial interference. Amar's mother-in-law is a meanie. Meet's wife has an inexplicable connection with her twin brother (who is a body builder) as a result of which her sibling gets turned on every time her husband tries to make love to her. And Prem's sister-in-law does not realise just how hot she is.

Way back in 2004, Indra Kumar, known for making hit films like Dil and Beta, had brought together Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Riteish Deshmukh to make a comedy called Masti, which was about three married men looking to have some fun outside their marriages. Though the film was a decent entertainer, its sequel Grand Masti was positively sleazy and the third film in the series (Great Grand Masti) is downright asinine, confirming our fears that the franchise is going from bad to worse with every film.

Starting off in its usual manner of establishing a premise of three sexless marriages, the Masti boys namely, Meet Mehta (Vivek Oberoi), Prem Chawla (Aftab Shivdasani), Riteish Deshmukh (Amar Saxena) are trying to add some spice to their dead love lives but their attempts are foiled by the kith and kin of their respective wives' families. Self-proclaimed godman, Antakshari Baba (Sanjay Mishra) and Amar's mother-in-law (Usha Nadkarni)'s faith in him is a hindrance for Amar who is on a lookout for some fun with his darling wife Sapna Saxena (Pooja Banerjee).
