Storyline
Gopi, an oversized guy comes to know that his parents separated after his birth and he has a brother who lives in Mumbai with his mother. Gopi's brother Shiv is a police and there's nothing similar between the two brothers. In the series of incidents, Gopi becomes the only way for Shiv to reach out the land mafia called lord Baba.

Gopi(Ganesh Acharya) is a care-free, oversized young guy who lives with his grandfather(Prem Chopra). He suddenly discovers that his parents had separated following a spat right after his birth and he has a twin brother who lives in Mumbai with their mother. From size to personality, nothing matches between him and his brother Shiv(Maninder Singh), who is a cop.
There are star-launch vehicles, and then there are goodwill vehicles. Director Ajay Chandhok, who perpetrated the awful Chatur Singh Two Star on us, is back with Hey Bro-a film that seems to be the direct result of his decade-long apprenticeship on '90s Govinda movies. This is not to say Ganesh Acharya, ace choreographer of every second film since 1989, has no role in channeling every ounce of goodwill/cameos into the film.
Ganesh Acharya has had a bad run as a producer/director. His first venture SWAMI was a well-made piece of cinema but went unnoticed. His next 2 films - MONEY HAI TOH HONEY HAI and ANGEL - were disastrous and bombed at the box office. Archarya releases his fourth production this week, HEY BRO, which stars him in the lead role. Will this comedy film bring him the much needed hit at the box office?
