A spirited attempt loaded with the clichés that ultimately led to its demise, Let's Dance is the oft-told story of a young dancer striving to make it big. Sadly it doesn't even have the saving grace of being the first of its kind in Bollywood, and its blatant resemblance to every other dance movie just leaves one yearning for something different. The story follows Suhani (Gayatri Patel), a young dancer who lives in a flat in Mumbai with her TV anchor friend (Sugandha Garg) . She runs a dance school but yearns to make it big in the world of Bollywood but the clean way, no casting couches for our lead actress. Also in her life is Neil (Ajay Choudhary), a restaurant owner who believes in her. One late night she discovers some slum kids dancing and is so impressed by them that she invites them over to her dance school to train with her. Tragedy strikes and she is on the verge of losing her dance school which also means that the slum kids will have to go back to peddling drugs to keep themselves occupied! The rest of the movie is a clichéd repetition of how she saves her dance school and helps the slum kids. Gayatri's performance is spirited and one can see that she is putting a sincere effort. But somewhere it doesn't match up. The dancing is good fun and we see some . The romance between her and Ajay is half-baked and devoid of chemistry, largely due to Ajay's ineptitude. Cinematography and Direction are the usual, just above average. On the whole, average fair, watch if you're a dancing buff.
