Nirmal Kumar's (Irrfan Khan) life turns upside down when his seven year old son dies in a bridge collapse. In his vulnerability, Nirmal decides to take revenge against the people who were involved in the bridge mishap. Nirmal kidnaps the eight year old son of the Home Minister.

For this high profile case, Home Minister (Tushar Dalvi) assigns the responsibility to Officer Nachiket Verma (Jimmy Shergill). Soon begins the investigation and several chapters unfold. Will Nirmal be successful in this move or will he get caught by Nachiket's strong team.
