\"Mere Brother Ki Dulhan\" is an unusual romantic funny film which has been set in the world of the upper middle class in the north parts of India. Kush Agnihotri (played by Imran Khan) is hunting for the ideal Indian bride for his brother Luv Agnihotri (Ali Zafar). His brother lives in London.

While searching a bride for his brother, Kush goes through a collection of crazy encounters with various families until he, at the end of the day, finds just the right girl in the form of Dimple Dixit (played by Katrina Kaif) who appears to be the wackiest and the craziest girl he has known till date.
 
The family members of the bride and the groom meet on a particular day. Soon formalities take place and they are completed and it is declared that they are going to get married soon. Soon the family members of the bride and the groom start preparations for the wedding ceremony which is in full swing. But twist and turn sneaks into the film when the brother who had found this girl for his brother starts loving Dimple i.e. Kush falls in love with Dimple...that is the reason why this movie is titled as Mere Brother Ki Dulhan which literally means that the bride of my brother.
 
Thereafter sequences and events follow which are very comical, hilarious, quirky and unpredictable which no one would have expected. A chain of funny and confusing events keep on taking place in this unusual topsy - turvy story of love.
 
The movie has been produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films which is slated to release in September 2011 and this film invites you to the craziest wackiest masaledaar marriage ceremony of the year. This film has been written as well as directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film releases worldwide on September 09, 2011.
