Storyline
Mitali, a successful model meets Karan,the son of a rich industrialist Mittal. Karan proposes Mitali and both get married. Karan wants to subdue Mitali\'s independent streak. He is a puppet of his mother. Karan who appears as a loving husband becomes a violent monster at night within the privacy of their bedroom. When Mitali gets tired of humiliation and pain from Karan, she resists the advances of Karan but gets raped by him. Mitali decides to fight back and files a case against Karan. But he hires most expensive and best lawyer to fight his case.

Mittal Vs Mittal film is made by the film maker Karan Razdan who earlier wrote many films and directed films like Girlfriend.
This film deals with a social issue like marital rape.
This issue has sparked many debates earlier but no one has made film on this topic. This film is one of its kinds to find some solution to the problem of marital rape.
The protagonist of this film is Mitali, who is a model, who dreams of his boyfriend, groom and husband to be a prince. She dreams her marriage life to be very happy. Finally she meets one day Karan (Rohit Roy) who is an industrialist. He is the spoilt brat and from one of the richest families of the country whereas Mitali belongs to a middle class family and in status is no match to Mittal. But Karan gets mad after her and wants to marry her. Eventually sends his marriage proposal to her parents. Mitali's parents could not believe that their daughter could be so lucky. They happily give their approval for the marriage. Thus Mitali & Mittal are married to each other.
But Mitali's dreams are shattered after she comes to know the true face of Karan. Her happiness turns into nightmare. Her mother in law disliked her tried to create confusion between Mitali & Karan. Karan proves to be a puppet of his mother. Karan's father can't do anything as he is helpless. Karan who appeared to be a nice and noble man before marriage, becomes devil after marriage and one day he rapes her against her wishes which hurts her heart a lot. Mitali is a different kind of women who can't tolerate injustice. She decided to fight back. She decides to give him punishment.
Mitali walks out of Karan's house and hires a lawyer and files a case against Karan. Karan strikes back, by hiring himself the best lawyer in the country, because he could spend any amount of money.
What happens and what is the result is the rest of the film.

This film is about rights of women and raises the issue of domestic violence.
