Critic Reviews
SADDA ADDA is a Hindi feature film which released on 13th January, 2012. It belongs to comedy-romance genre and is written and directed by Muazzam Beg.Story : It is the story of 6 young people who live in a single house in Delhi. They hail from different places and have different goals to achieve. Sameer Khanna (Karan Sharma) is a budding actor but is short-tempered and edgy who manages to bag a role in a Hollywood film to be shot in India – but loses it all when he falls in love with the rich and (wannabe) sexy Shreya. Kabir (Kunal Panth) is a salesman of water purifier (Aquaguard) but he hopes that he will do something different one day and his life would change. Safal (Parimal Alok) speaks pure Hindi who is from Bihar and aspires to become an IAS officer. Thus all the 6 youth have different goals to achieve. But things take bad turn when one of them commits suicide.Things change when one of them falls in love with someone.Do they achieve their goals? If yes, to what extent and how? These are the questions answered in the remaining film.Acting : Acting-wise the actors are not going to impress you a lot because most of them are newcomers. However they aren't bad either. Some of them have tried to do their best while some of them are childish.Script : The story contains good message but screenplay is weak and contains many loopholes and it is not so convincing.Music : It is below average.Direction : The director has done an average job or below average. Neither the script nor the direction is outstanding. However, it is not even that bad. They have tried to create humor in some scenes and make you laugh; though not succeeded fully. They could have done better. Conclusion : Since this film is with new star casts so costs much lesser than big star casts films. Hence this film may earn revenues; at least it can recover its making cost.Verdict : A light film; not a bad film. You may watch if you have time else if you skip, you miss nothing!
