Taree Sang: It's a badly mixed between Hollywood flick Juno and Preity Zinta's Kya Kehna with Bollywood's done-to death mantra – rich girl and poor boy in love. The film, with the tagline 'a kidult love story', is about a teenage love with their sex life that leads to premature pregnancy. Even though it has a social massage but quite unlike Juno, this film falters in all the aspects. Did we just compare it to Juno? Oh sorry, its Director made it loud much before the movie was released saying, "it's not at all a remake of Juno". Actors like Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher and Rajat Kapoor also fail to make this Satish Kaushik's extended- condom-commercial-type movie a decent watch. Give it a thought. Rich couple Rajat Kapoor and Neena Gupta's daughter Mahi (Sheena Shahabadi) be friends with poor Satish Kaushik and Sushmita Mukherjee's son Kabir aka Kukko (Ruslaan Mumtaz). Here comes the best part of the film, it keeps the boring love formulas of Bollywood intact – which is why the Mahi and Kukko's friendship turns into a love-affair. They get intimate under the influence of alcohol (or under the influence of Juno!) and get Maahi gets pregnant. The drama begins when Rajat Kapoor opposes his daughter's wish to keep the baby. Wonder why Bollywood's first official un-wed mom Neena Gupta wasn't given a strong role there?After directing Himesh Reshammiya starrer Karzz, something happened to Satish Kaushik. After all, he came up with a film that makes you cry with its jokes and laugh with its melodrama. Plus the unnecessary social message – perhaps, parents are comfortable taking their teenagers to sex education classes than to this movie.Debutants Sachin-Jigar due is the only saving grace as far as the music goes – while Anu Malik and Bappi Lahiri's guest numbers are as irritating as ever! Clinton and Dominique Cerejo gave a refreshing tone to its opening song 'I will be there for you'. As a whole, the movie was below average, despite the fact that it had a strong story line and acted by brilliant actors. We would say go for it if you have absolutely nothing to do this weekend.
