The film aims at showcasing the beautiful transition of the young Narendra Nath Dutta (Deep Bhattacharya) to the great monk Swami Vivekananda. The movie unleashes several events in his life since his childhood days till he comes across the great saint Ramakrishna Paramhans (Premankur Chattopadhyay) at Dakshineswar. The travel of Swami Vivekananda to Northern India, Europe and America along with meeting his sister Nivedita (Courtney Stephens) is illustrated in the movie. The various works done by Swami Vivekananda for the betterment of people are displayed in the story, thereby transmuting him from Narendra Nath Dutta to Swami Vivekananda.
