Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is presently touring the drought-affected areas of Maharashtra for teaching the water conservation techniques to the villagers. The actor has reportedly Aamir Khan has adopted Koregaon and Tal villages. Paani Foundation of Aamir Khan has launched Satyamev Jayate Water Cup through which Aamir is teaching water conservation techniques to three districts.

Prior to this, Aamir Khan adopted a village in Bhuj in Gujarat that was devastated in earthquake in the year 2001. The dedication of the actor to help victims of water crisis in Maharashtra is worth praise and he is working with the entire Satyamev Jayate team there.
