Aamir Khan is now owner of a part of INS Vikrant
Aamir Khan has bought a special limited edition of Bajaj 'V' series bike made from the metal of the Indian Naval services aircraft carrier INS Vikrant.

The superstar Aamir Khan has many times been seen riding bikes in his films, but he did not own one yet. Aamir Khan has now reportedly bought a new special edition bike from Bajaj. This latest acquisition of the actor is the Bajaj 'V' series bike which have been made from the metal of the Indian Naval Services aircraft carrier INS Vikrant. Aamir has been an avid fan of the ship.
The superstar booked his edition of bike a couple of months back when it was announced and the delivery of his bike was done on Friday. He customized the bike with letter 'A' embossed on it.
As for the ship, an important roles had been played by the aircraft carrier INS Vikrant in enforcing the naval blockade during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Till 2012, the carrier was later converted into a museum decommissioned from the naval services in 1997. The Supreme Court had passed an order in 2014 to scrap the ship that was later used for its metal in the bikes.
