Aamir Khan talks about releasing Secret Superstar in China!

Aamir Khan ’s last release Dangal made records all over. It competed with the giant film Baahubali: The Conclusion to become the highest grossing Indian film in the world markets. The beautifully depicted wrestling drama Dangal that narrates the story of Indian wrestler Mahavir Phogat and his wrestler daughters, garnered praises and accolades all over the world. The film made massive business in the Chinese market.
Now, there is a sense of curiosity amongst the audience if Aamir plans to release his next Secret Superstar in China. In a recent media interaction, Aamir Khan said that he is trying his best for the same. He revealed that it is the Chinese government policy that they release only 40 films that are from other countries and of which they usually select 4 to 6 films from India. The actor reveals that they have sent Secret Superstar for the censor board in China and after they watch the film, they will decide its fate.
Aamir also revealed an interesting aspect of Chinese films. He said, unlike in India its release date is not decided by us but they board takes the call. Aamir said that he is trying to release it this year or maybe early next year.
Directed and written by Advait Chandan , Secret Superstar features young actress Zaira Wasim in the central role. The film has been scheduled to release on October 19, 2017 in India.
