After ‘Aiyaary’, Sidharth Malhotra to do a biopic on Captain Vikram Batra!

Despite giving some back to back flops in the past, actor Sidharth Malhotra is being considered for some amazing scripts. His latest movie ‘ Ittefaq ’ is performing decently at the box office and he is being appreciated by the masses as well. Sidharth’s next project is ‘ Aiyaary ’ that also features Manoj Bajpayee and Rakul Preet Singh in the pivotal roles. After wrapping ‘ Aiyaary ’, the actor has confirmed of being a part of biopic made on Kargil Martyr Captain Vikram Batra.

While talking to a leading portal, Sidharth spoke about his upcoming projects and confirmed being a part of Kargil Martyr Captain Vikram Batra's biopic. "In the next two months, I have Aiyaary coming up alongside Manoj Bajpayee, who is a fabulous actor. Then there is Vikram Batra's biopic. So, there are two films and there is another one which will be announced soon. So I am pretty excited about the lineup," the actor said.

Earlier, a source had revealed to the daily, "He loves the script and feels that Vikram’s is a heroic story that needs to be told. Whatever happens, it will be him, who plays the role. He’s tight-lipped about the project for now, but he has given it the green signal." The source further added, "He understands the space and the emotions attached to it. He’s done his research on Batra and is raring to go".

"Sidharth has been offered biopics, but he was keen on doing an inspirational story — and what better than one on Captain Vikram Batra’s life! ‘Aiyaary’ is based on real incidents, but this will be a proper biography on screen — Sid’s first," the source added.

Well, with ‘ Ittefaq ’, ‘ Aiyaary ’ and his upcoming untitled biopic, we hope the darker days of the actor come to an end.
