Seems that our former Miss World and Bachchan Bahu Aishwarya Rai and the French government have a deep admiration towards each other. Aishwarya who regularly marks her presence on the red carpet at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival has been honored by the French Government recently. The French Government recently expressed the admiration towards the actress by conferring her with a civilian award. The French Government gave this award to Aishwarya for her contribution to the arts.
According to the source, now, the French Government is specially inviting Aishwarya for their prominent Cannes Film Festival. The film festival is scheduled by the end of this year and it will celebrate 100 years of Indian cinema. The French Ambassador of India, Francois Richier said that, Aishwarya Rai is always respected in France as she is associated with the Cannes Film Festival for a long time.
