Reportedly, Ajay Devgn has signed a whooping Rs. 400 Crore deal with Star India for the exclusive satellite release of all his forthcoming films for the next 5 years till 2017.

He is the second after Salman Khan to bind with such a contract. The first film to be released of the actor is Sajid Khan directed ' Himmatwala '. Then the list follows Prakash Jha 's ' Satyagraha ', a movie with Prabhu Deva and a sequel to ' Singham '. The deal will include at least ten Movies.

Ajay, who is busy shooting in Bhopal, confirmed that such a deal took place and looking at the current scenario where business is becoming open it is wiser to deal directly. He told that he is benefiting the producers because most of the time they depend upon the satellite release to makeover for a substantial cost of production. At the same time he will also be securing some profit for himself. The last three releases of Ajay Devgn had a phenomenal 6.2 TRP compared to the 2.5 TRP condition which is considered as successful. Also ' Son Of Sardaar ' leads with the highest TVR of 5.1, as per the TAM ratings of week 7 in 2013.
