Akshay Kumar loses weight for some scenes in Rustom

Tinu Suresh Desai's directorial Rustom is all set to unfold the murder mystery on August 12 and here comes another interesting news update about it. The lead actor Akshay Kumar lost some kilos for certain scenes in upcoming film Rustom. The fitness freak Akshay is very much specific regarding his diet and exercise regime. He intends to achieve the perfect look for his every character in the films.

Akshay reduced some weight for a courtroom scene as he require to have high cheekbones for it. He did exercise, stopped the intake of high-calorie food items and carb in his diet and finally, succeeded in achieving the right look for the sequence. He essays a naval officer, Rustom Pavri, who commits murder of his wife's lover in the year 1959.
