Akshay Kumar states that he won the National Award with honesty!

Recently, the National Film Award winners were announced by the jury and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar won big at it. He won the Best Actor National Award for his film Rustom. He even sent out a hearfelt video to thank everyone! In a media interaction, when Akshay was asked about the win he gave a very straight answer.
Akshay said, “Itna keh sakta hun mai ki ye award bhi maine imaandari se jita hai. Maine aaj tak cheating nahi ki. Neither have I ever made a call to anyone to win an award nor have given money or done favours for it.”
On the work front, Akshay will be next seen in PadMan alongside Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor .
