Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan was the very first Bollywood celebrity to get placed at the prestigious Madame Tussauds wax museum in London in the year 2000. The tweet posted by Big B stated that Amitabh Bachchan will be once again get immortalised at Madame Tussauds museum in London.
In 2009, the stature of Amitabh Bachchan was moved to New York wax museum in USA. Post this, the stature went to Hong Kong and in 2011 it was in Bangkok. In 2012, the stature was placed in Washington D. C.
Senior Bachchan took his personal blog to write "They are back with me here wanting to refurbish the statue in MT, and are taking great pains for measurement and photographs and matchings that need to be done . and yes .'could we please use some of your clothes that do not be used presently, shoes, shirts jackets, glasses .. and the medically positioned to check the colours above all else .."
