The untoward incident of mass shooting that occurred on Friday, in the suburban Denver during the midnight premiere of the new Batman movie 'The Dark Knight Rises' has shocked the entire world including the Indian celebrities.

The incident claimed 12 lives and has left many others injured. During the investigation, the suspect reportedly claimed to be the fictional opponent of Batman and told police he was "the Joker". The man had a rifle, a handgun and a gas mask when he was arrested by the police.

The veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has also expressed shock over the incident. He took to twitter to express his feelings regarding the Denver shooting incident. He tweeted: "Each day something disturbing appears. Saw live footage of Colorado killings gunman dressed as Batman saying he was 'the Joker'."

Actress Madhuri Dixit also condemned the incident by tweeting. She tweeted: "My heart goes out to the families". The actress has spent a couple of years in Denver after her marriage with Dr. Nene.
